Listed below are Free Internet Service Providers that I am currently running on one of my computers.
The free ISP's use Windows 95/98 (some support NT and Mac) and have 56K dial-up access.
They all co-exist without any conflicts. While I don't want to recommend one over the others, because they all
work pretty well and some may work better than others for you, depending on your dialing location, my advice
would be to try several of them. It's allways nice to have a backup. If you want a free personal home page that is
really easy to use, try FortuneCity (click on "fortunecity.com" on the banner at the top of this page).
Note: There 4 ISP's from Spinway (address.com, BlueLight, NetTaxi and Xoom.com). If you install more
than one of them on the same computer, the local access number(s) that you choose for one changes to that
number for the others. This is not a big problem on my computer.
Note: This information changes from time to time. Freewwweb.com and WorldSpyNet (both of which had no
banner ads) are no longer available. iFreedom.com will now only work with tone (but not pulse) dialing.
1Nation OnLine

bonus points towards mechandise - I almost have enough for a free portable MP3 player.

The installation program installs a Yahoo bar in your browser which takes up some desktop space, but you can
easily uninstall it if you want to.
